Combine all ingredients in Vitamix high-speed blender until hot.  Serve in mugs and sprinkle with cinnamon.

• 1 box of unsweetened almond milk
• 3 dates, pitted
• ½ tsp cinnamon
• 2 tsp cocoa powder
• 1 tsp “Pero” instant coffee beverage
• 1/8 tsp vanilla extract

I don’t drink coffee.  I drink apple cider vinegar.  It doesn’t have caffeine, but it still picks me up.  In short, it cures lots of little things I didn’t realize could be cured – like throat clearing. 

In the morning, I drink “Fire Cider.”  It’s this intense recipe made with apple cider vinegar, ginger, garlic, and some spices.  You can find it in some of the more progressive health food stores and online. To my knowledge, Whole Foods doesn’t carry it, at least the one in Princeton, New Jersey doesn’t.

Ingredients
  1. Collard green leaves, freshly washed and dried
  2. Dijon mustard
  3. Avocado - diced
  4. Fresh Cilantro - chopped
  5. Sunflower Sprouts
  6. Pickles - chopped
Instructions
  1. Spread out the collard green flat on a plate or clean food preparation surface. Put small amount of dijon mustard on the green and spread it around. To that, add chopped avocado, chopped cilantro, pickles, and sprouts. Roll up and go to Heaven!!
